From the President

Despite one’s abilities or skills, we all share something as human beings.  We want to be loved and cared for, and we want to be happy. While we live in a world where these simple desires aren’t always fulfilled, we can work together to create a world where it’s incredibly possible for many more of us.  That’s what Balance stands for. We simply want to go beyond the idea of survival and help clients young and old thrive and experience joy. In doing so, it not only brings our clients joy, but it brings us joy as well.

I encourage you to take one small step to engage in our mission to balance support and independence for people with disabilities, or as we like to say, people of all abilities. You can do this by volunteering your timedonating money, or simply staying informed of all we are doing by subscribing to our e-newsletter.

Without people and organizations in Wisconsin supporting us, we could not create the smiles, the friendships, and the adventures that we have so proudly provided for 30 years.  I thank you for taking this moment to learn about us, and I hope you’ll contact us to learn more.

To happiness!

Tarrah Beyer

Board President
