December 2022 Newsletter

As we close in on the end of a beautiful year Balance would like to wish you a very happy holiday season.

Our holiday wish is to be able to raise the base wage for our most important staff, the caregivers (Direct Support Professionals) who work at Balance and give so much of their time and hearts. They are the people that really do make each day at Balance possible.

Increasing pay for these individuals will not only help them manage current economic uncertainties but it will also allow Balance to better compete in the job market as we look to hire for many open caregiver positions.

Without these caregivers, Balance would not be able to support the nearly 200 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that rely on Balance programs.

In order to increase wages, as a nonprofit, we must turn to you and humbly ask for your assistance. Please consider donating online to our Year End Appeal which you can find here https://givebutter.com/annualappeal2022

Should you wish to mail a check you can send it to us at:

Balance, Inc.

1350 14th Ave #4
Grafton, WI 53024

We thank you for your continued support and hope you know how much your financial assistance means to the nearly 200 individuals that Balance serves and their incredible caregivers.

If you have already made a contribution to our Year End Appeal or to our Giving Tuesday Campaign we truly want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! See below to see how our Giving Tuesday Campaign went!

This means you funded TWO full days of the 2023 Summer Rec and will be making dreams come true for 50 kids in our community who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
