Balance receives a $6,700 grant from the Mequon Thiensville Junior Woman’s Club

Balance is so grateful to have been chosen to be a beneficiary of the 2023 Junior Woman's Club of Mequon-Thiensville - Turkey Trot.

This grant from the Junior Woman's Club will fully fund the transportation for Balance's 2024 Children's Summer Rec program. This program provides a true summer camp experience to over 40 children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ozaukee County.

Being able to provide bus transportation for our Summer Rec program means that our Adult Day Program will not sacrifice their transportation during the six weeks of Summer Rec. This means that more than 100 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities will benefit from this one community grant!

We are incredibly thankful to the club and all runners/walkers who attended the 2023 Turkey Trot in Thiensville.
