Community Smiles Dental will provide an overview of their organization.
This discussion will include topics such as
finding dental care for individuals with IDD.
the importance of oral health
how to maintain a healthy smile
nutrition choices that support good oral health
and a summary of the educational program that Balance participants received earlier in the day 6/18.

Balance’s Summer Kickoff is BACK for a second year!

Tuesday, April 16, from 11:30 am - 1 pm.
Special needs planning can be overwhelming. Where do you start, what do all these words mean, and do you need an attorney? This program, facilitated by an experienced special needs planning and guardianship attorney, is designed to break down the commonly used tools of special needs planning into understandable segments. Participants should walk away with an idea of what tools may apply to their situation and a concrete idea of possible next steps in their process.
(No specific legal advice will be given.)

The team with the highest bowling scores & the team with the most donations.
How to Support the Balance Bowling Tournament:

2. Go to "Menu", choose "Donate to a Team", and then click on a team to donate.
3. The team with the most donations (as of Friday, March 8th at 8 am) will be one of the winners. The other winning team will be determined by the highest bowling score on March 8th.
4. Watch the teams bowl on March 8th from 10 am-12 pm at Circle “B” Recreation in Cedarburg.

Artist reception on January 12th from 3-6 pm at Balance in Grafton, Wisconsin. The Art Show will be on the 2nd floor of the building. An elevator is available.

Save the Date for Balance’s 2nd annual fundraising Gala. The theme this year is Magic of Community and all proceeds will benefit Balance’s Adult Day Program which supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in and around Ozaukee County.
The event will take place Thursday, October 5th starting at 5:30 at Shully’s Cuisine and Events in Thiensville, Wisconsin.
