Supported Living

Helping adults with IDD stay independent.

Many individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD) wish to live in their own homes or apartments in the community and do not require assistance around the clock.

At Balance, our goal is to provide support to these individuals through our Supported Living Program so that they can stay independent for as long as possible.

Our Supported Living program assists individuals with special needs in their homes for a few hours each week. We assist with home management, meal planning, social outings, and other activities. Our assistance varies on what each client needs and is tailored to each client specifically.

This service offered by Balance is an alternative to more intensive living arrangements such as an Adult Family Home.

Most individuals in this program work in the community and pay their own rent and living expenses.

Balance assists the individuals in this program on an as-needed basis.
