Volunteer “Movement Mentors” help Balance’s AFH residents stay active

Volunteer Movement Mentor Grace and her dog Leo volunteer to go on short weekly walks with the adults who live in Balance's Adult Family Homes in Ozaukee County. The individuals who live in Balance's homes have special needs.

Saukville, WI - Volunteer Grace and her dog Leo are Movement Mentors who help Balance's Adult Family Home residents (KC and Joslin) get out of the house for weekly walks around the neighborhood. Balance's Adult Family Homes provide 24/7 care and family-style living to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
